Bask in the glory of conquering Gran Paradiso as you admire the rugged peaks, deep valleys and vast glaciers stretching out before you from the summit. If you manage to outdo our record time of 3 hours and 5 minutes from the car to the summit, we'll raise a glass with you as soon as we reach the bottom!

What experience and how fit do I need to be to climb this mountain? Is this program suitable for children or older people?

To reach the summit at 4,061 meters, you'll need to climb 2,100 meters of elevation gain while navigating the high-altitude environment from 2,000 meters up. A good pace for the ascent is around 700 meters per hour with only a few stops, but a minimum pace of 500 meters per hour is required. A superb pace of 1,000 meters per hour is also achievable.

You don't need to be a highly skilled mountaineer but you have to be able to wear and use crampons and manage your clothes in altitude during aerobic exercise.

How will accommodation and meals be handled on the mountain?

This single-day ascent requires no overnight accommodation. If you require any advice on activities and lodging for the day before or after, feel free to let us know.

What people are saying about Unusual Experience

We had a fantastic time on the Monte Rosa Tour and couldn’t recommend the team and trip highly enough. The tour was extremely well planned to ensure we had the best chance of achieving our goals whilst having a great time, thanks to a perfect mix of climbing and learning whilst giving our bodies a chance to adapt/ acclimatise and rest. Each day was varied and exciting and our guides were extremely knowledgeable, safe and great fun to spend a week with. The course was perfectly tailored to the teams skill level and allowed us all to have a brilliant time. Can’t thank Enrico, Marco and Francesco enough. Cheers guys
