3-day La Meije ascent (private)

Join Quentin, an IFMGA certified guide, on this 3-day La Meije ascent. Climb one of the hardest peaks in the Alps while enjoying the wonderful scenery.

3 Days

Jul, Aug, Sep

This 3-day La Meije ascent will take you to a mythical summit in the Alps.

La Meije is located in the massif des Ecrins, in France. It's nearby the small town of La Grave and it's renowned for its off piste skiing possibilities. But it's a magical place to visit during summer too, with lots of mountaineering options.

And this program is designed to take you to the highest peak of this mountain: The Grand Pic de la Meije (3983 m). This mythical peak is known in the climbing world for not having any "easy" way up. It's consider to be one of the hardest peak to climb in the Alps.

So, we'll start at La Grave and we'll decide if we go via La Bérarde climbing to La Brèche de la Meije or some other route that you prefer. Here are some sections that we could take: Pyramide Duhanel, Le Grand Doigt, Le Pic du Glacier Carré, Zsigmondy, Le Doigt de Dieu, La Brèche de Joseph Turc. We can make a traverse or just climb one of the Grand Pic de la Meije.

So please contact me to make this 3-day La Meije ascent happen. I would be delighted to take you up there and share this beautiful and legendary adventure of the Alps.

And if you're looking for similar ascents in other countries close by, please take a look of my Ascent to La Dent Blanche, Pennine Alps or my Guided 2-day Gran Paradiso ascent.

What people are saying about Quentin Delavignette

February, 2020

Guide was good, skiing was mediocre but that is because of snow conditions which can't be helped.

March, 2017

A refaire

February, 2015

The conditions were hard, a lot of wind and some cloud layers downside. Quentin managed to keep the group together and drove us trough deep powder on the lower parts of Alpe d'huez since La Grave was closed. It is an excellent guide with huge human skills ! We loved our journey with Quentin and are sure we will ride together again soon

Great time with Quentin, a guide as we like. Professional, human and super nice. I have already done several routes in mountain et ice climbing (Dents du Geant, tour ronde in the corridor Gervasutti, le Rateau ouest, ...) and every time a beautiful human adventure. Seb

Quentin is simply an awesome guide. It was one of my first climbing experiences and Quentin helped me feel safe. He is very professional and knows how to manage groups of people. Despite the changes in our project, Quentin always tried to accomodate the best options for the group. His experience and knowledge of the mountain gave confidence to each group member. The fact that he is both physiotherapist and guide is a great advantage, regarding physical preparation and stretching for example. Thanks Quentin! And see you next year on top of the Mont-Blanc!

Quentin is a great guide. I really learned a lot about the mountains when I ski touring with him. I felt safe all the time and also had great fun !
