Mountain safety course in Mount Shasta or Eastern Sierra Nevada

I will organize this 3-day mountain safety course in northern California to suit each participants needs and desires. And what’s great about this program is that participants will have the opportunity to put to practice what they’ve learned in a real mountain environment!

One possibility is to explore Mount Shasta (14,179 feet /4321.8 m). This is the fifth-highest peak in the State of California. It is also known for being one of the world’s preeminent sacred mountains. Otherwise, another option is the Eastern Sierra Nevada, one of California’s best-kept secrets for adventure lovers.

• Glacier Tour & Exploration

• Rope Team Tour & Belaying

• Crevasse Rescue

• Anchors & Rope techniques

• Alpine Ice ascending

• Glacial Exploration

With these techniques, you will sharpen your skills and confidence. Moreover, you will acquire a better understanding of mountain safety for their trips!

To participate in this program you will need some prior mountaineering experience. Also, you will need a good fitness level. Of course, I will be there every step of the way to make sure you acquire the techniques we work on and that you can apply them.
