Type of Trip
Join me on this 4-day rock climbing course in the beautiful Orco Valley and take your technical skills one step up!
This course is designed for rock climbers who already have some sport climbing experience on single or multi-pitched routes equipped with bolts but would like to become more autonomous on longer routes where one needs to use “fast” protections such as nuts and friends.
Located in the gorgeous Gran Paradiso National Park, in the Italian Piedmont, the Orco Valley offers exceptional-quality rock. It will remind you of Californian walls!
On the first day, I’ll assess your climbing level. Afterwards, on days 2 to 4, we’ll cover progression techniques, positioning and anchoring of “fast” protections and abseiling. You’ll really see an improvement!
Besides, I’m a local guide and will take you to all the best spots. I’ve been rock climbing in this area since I was a kid and know these rocks like the back of my hand.
So join me on this course in Orco Valley and enjoy 4 days under the sun! Contact me and we’ll start planning.

What happens if I need to cancel the trip?
If you decide to cancel, you’ll get a 100% refund (minus fees) if the cancellation is notified up to 60 days before the start of the tour, a 75% refund (minus fees) if you cancel between 59 and 30 days before the start of the tour, and a 50% refund if you cancel between 29 and 21 days before the start of the tour. If you cancel less than 21 days before the first day of the tour, you won’t receive a refund. Take into account, however, that if accommodation, flights or transfers were included in the trip you booked, then a different policy may apply as the guide will be bound by the provider’s cancellation policy.
What happens if the guide cancels the trip because of bad weather/unsuitable conditions?
If bad weather or unsuitable conditions force the guide to cancel the trip, he or she will: a) propose a similar activity at a different place where conditions are better, or b) propose to postpone the activity until a later date, or c) cancel. If you refuse option a), our cancellation policy will apply. Please note, however, that the call to cancel a trip due to bad weather can only be made by the guide (not the client).
What happens if the guide doesn’t show up or cancels for personal reasons?
If the guide cancels for reason of injury or other, you will get a 100% refund on your trip.
The price does not include half board and accommodation (about €50 per person per night), drinks and car transfers.
About the Guide
I learned to climb in the 80s in the mountains of Gran Paradiso while having a good time with my friends. Afterwards, it was the desire to work in contact with nature and other people that led me to become a mountain guide. This profession, which gives me the opportunity to meet people and visit new places, gives me great satisfaction. But believe me, I also do it with great responsibility!
