Description

Discover the incredible wilderness and landscapes of the Andes on this 4-day trek in Atacama, in the northern area of Chile.

San Pedro de Atacama is located in the Antofagasta region of Chile. Not only does it boast stunning landscapes, but it is also a spot full of pre-columbian native ruins.  On this 4-day adventure, I offer you a program with a great variety of experiences to enjoy Atacama in a wonderful way. You will have the chance to explore the rivers, geysers, and mountains of this incredible area.

First of all, on day 1, we’ll meet in San Pedro de Atacama and go to Río Salado and Río Grande. On day 2, we’ll visit Machuca, a small village in the middle of the mountains, and then reach Geiser Blanco. Then, on day 3, we’ll trek to the summit of Soquete Volcano, located at 5,410 meters above sea level, and return to Geiser Blanco. On day 4, we’ll explore El Tatio, one of the largest fields of geysers in the world. Finally, we’ll visit the Puritama hot springs and go back to San Pedro de Atacama.

Because this is a challenging trek, it is a requirement for this trip to have a very good fitness level. Of course, I will be there to help and guide you all the way.

So, are you ready for a fantastic experience in the heart of Atacama? Then send the request to book your place now and prepare to discover this amazing area.

You can also take a look at this program to Licancabur Volcano, in the border area between Chile and Bolivia. Check it out!

Carlos was awesome - provided a great sense of security, handled the rope really well, is in great shape and made the whole experience seem much more effortless than it seemed. Highly recommended and hope to do more outings with him!
