Description

For 4 days, I would like to guide you to the summits of 4 hard to reach peaks in the Alps. The 4 peaks we will be scaling on this trip include the Aiguille Verte (4,122m), the Aiguille du Jardin (4,035m), the Grande Rocheuse (4,102m) and Les Droites (4,000m). Each one of these peaks are part of the 82, 4,000 meter plus peaks in the Alps.

Our trip will begin in the famous and stunning town of Chamonix. From there, we will make our way to the Couvercle hut. The hut will be our base throughout the 5 day trip, and is where we will be sleeping every night.

Each one of the climbs on this trip will be arduous. However, the views you will get from each summit are nothing short of incredible. And the feeling you will get after overcoming each challenge is indescribable. Needless to say, in order to participate on this trip, you should be a very experienced climber, prepared for some advanced level climbing. And because we will be climbing for approximately 8 – 10 hours per day, and ascending between 850 and 1,550 meters, you should be in good physical condition.

The price includes the guiding fee and rental equipment. The price does not include guide expenses and half-board accommodations in a mountain hut for 4 nights (50-60 Euros per night) and cable car costs, which are about 30 Euros up and down.

Itinerary

Day 1: Chamonix - Couvercle Hut (2687m)

At 10:00 am, we will meet at the Montenvers parking lot in Chamonix. After that, we will climb to the Couvercle hut, where we will spend the night and base our trip.

Day 2: Couvercle Hut - Aig. Verte (4122m) - Grande Rocheuse (4102m) - Couvercle Hut

Today, we will climb to the summits of the Aiguille Verte and the Grand Rocheuse before returning to the Couvercle hut for the night.

Day 3: Couvercle Hut - Aig. du Jardin (4035m) - Couvercle Hut

We will climb to the Col Armand Charlet before reaching the summit of the Aiguille du Jardin. Afterwards, we will return to the Couvercle hut for the night.

Day 4: Couvercle Hut - Les Droites (4000m) - Couvercle Hut

Today we will climb the final peak of the trip: Les Droites by way of the Eperon Oriental route before returning to the Couvercle hut for the night.

Day 5: Couvercle Hut - Chamonix

After breakfast we will descend back to Chamonix, concluding the trip.

I'm a professional UIAGM mountain guide who works all over the world and has an addiction for traveling and working in many different places. I live in the southern part of Bavaria/Germany in a beautiful region called Allgäu. It's the perfect location to explore the Alps.
