Highlights

  • Enjoy a 10-day climbing expedition in Chile to the summits of 4 volcanoes.
  • Climb San Francisco, Vicunas, Ermitano and Penas Blancas.
  • Enjoy the beautiful Laguna Verde as your base camp.

Description

Join me over the course of 10 days to the summits of 4 incredible volcanoes in northern Chile: San Francisco (6,020m), Vicuñas (6,060m), Ermitaño (6,060m), and Penas Blancas (6,056m).

We will start and end our adventure in Copiapó. Our base camp throughout the trip will be Laguna Verde (4,300m). This beautiful area is a great destination on its own, as there are several soothing hot springs and great cuisine in the region; however, on this trip, it will be just the starting point from which we will climb some amazing Chilean peaks. From Laguna Verde, we will be close to each of the volcanoes. As a result, every ascent can be done in a single day. Each volcano will take between 4 and 7 hours to climb, with an average of 1000 meters of elevation gain for each ascent. Therefore, you should be in good physical condition. The time spent in Laguna Verde, which includes a full rest day, will give you the opportunity to get properly acclimatized. We will also be visiting the lovely Laguna Santa Rosa for a day, and hiking to the top of the Mulas Muertas.

Climbing to the summits of 4 volcanoes in Chile is an unforgettable experience. Send me a request and join me on this amazing 10-day adventure!

For more than 20 years I have worked as a guide in Chile. Join me and I´ll be able to show you the wonderful spots that the Andes offer to those who share my passion for big mountains.

I live in Santiago de Chile, the Chilean capital, where there are many options for high altitude ascents, even over 6,000 meters, in close proximity to the city. I also regularly organize trips to the Chilean Altiplano, where there are many mountains over 6000 meters. However, the main attraction of these trips is to witness the intensity and loneliness of the Atacama Desert.

I would love to have the opportunity to share these magical moments with you and help you achieve your goals and dreams.
