This 5-day Frey to Jakob ski touring trip is an amazing winter adventure that will take you through places you haven’t even dream about!

This program will start in Bariloche, an amazing city for winter activities down in the Argentinian Patagonia. It is designed to go skiing in virgin terrain, but also to take you to explore a remote spot where few people go by during winter.

So we’ll start from the Cerro Catedral ski resort. We’ll take the lifts up and ski our way to the Frey Mountain hut. Here you’ll experience a night surrounded by snowed peaks and full of stars that you won’t easily forget. The next day we’ll enjoy some high quality skiing around the hut’s slopes and spend a second night on this amazing place.

Then we’ll start the most adventurous  part of the trip. We’ll skin up our skis and climb up to the laguna Shmoll and cross to the Rucaco valley, where we’ll be alone with nature. After crossing this valley we’ll climb the cerro Brecha Negra to get to the San Martin mountain hut at the shore of the laguna Jakob. Here we’ll spend the night and enjoy the next day skiing around it.

Finally on the last day we’ll ski our way down to the the trail head of the Jakob path, where a transfer will take us back to Bariloche.

So don’t think about it any more and send me a request to make this 5-day Frey to Jakob ski touring trip your next winter adventure!
