Description

Looking for a unique hiking experience in the Alps? Then come with me on this 5-day program through the Sentiero Roma in Italy.

Sentiero Roma is a mountain route that goes through the Val Masino in the Sondrio Province of Lombardy. It’s an inspiring path that connects several refuges in the Western Rhaetian Alps.

During the 5 days of the program, we’ll enjoy hiking from hut to hut as we explore these fantastic natural spots. While hiking, we’ll be able to contemplate the characteristic granite mountains and towers in the area.

We’ll start in Bagni di Masino at 1,172 meters above sea level and end at the Scotti Refuge (1,470 meters). The hike through the Sentiero Roma has an elevation gain of around 1,000 meters. We’ll experience altitudes of 2,000 to 3,000 meters on the different tours. For a more detailed description of the itinerary, please take a look below. Also, take into account that it is very important to be physically fit for this program.

Are you ready for this experience? Then send your request and start preparing for this fantastic hike in the Alps!

I also lead a canyoning program in Liguria, Italy. Check it out!

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice. On the day head to take another group but he quickly arranged another guide Borut, who was brilliant. We had a fantastic morning learning via ferrata at Hvadnik in the gorge. It gave us the confidence to later hire our own equipment and go out in Mojstrana. Altogether a five star + experience. Thank you.
