Description

Come join me in this 8-day Cerro Vallecitos guided ascent! I'll make sure you have a smooth and gradual ascent to a peak with a wonderful view!

Cerro Vallecitos guided ascent is a recommended expedition to those climbers looking to acclimatize before ascending to the higher mountains of the area, like Aconcagua or Tupungato. But it could be also an opportunity to climb a demanding peak close to Mendoza. Because you don't need a permit to climb it, there is no bureaucracy involved. So it's a great choice if you don't want to spend time outside the mountain. Furthermore, it could be a final summit ascent before going home, if you have some extra time in Mendoza, after a higher climb.

Therefore, I offer a gradual ascent, perfect for all the previous reasons. First of all we'll arrive to a nice Mountain Refuge in Vallecitos. We'll do a first hike to the Cerro Lomas Blancas (3650 m) to stretch our legs. And on the next couple of days we'll do a smooth ascent. First, Piedra Grande Camp (3550 m). Second, El Salto Camp (4200 m), where we'll spend a whole day acclimatizing. Third, Cerro Plata High  Camp (4900). And the final ascent to the Cerro Vallecitos Summit (5550 m)!

In addition, mules will carry your equipment. So you'll be able to hike light, which is better to enjoy the scenery!

So don't hesitate and contact me for this 8-day Cerro Vallecitos guided ascent! And if you are looking for some higher adventures in Mendoza, check out my other trips: Aconcagua Ascent and Tupungato Summit.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice. On the day head to take another group but he quickly arranged another guide Borut, who was brilliant. We had a fantastic morning learning via ferrata at Hvadnik in the gorge. It gave us the confidence to later hire our own equipment and go out in Mojstrana. Altogether a five star + experience. Thank you.
