If you join me on this tour, you will enjoy the wonderful experience of skiing around the extraordinary Issyk Kul Lake in northeastern Kyrgyzstan.
The Issyk Kul Lake, the Pearl of Kyrgyzstan, is located in the Tian Shan mountain range. With 180 kilometers in length and 70 in width, it is the second biggest mountain lake in the world. In winter, all around the lake, you can admire the most beautiful snow-covered mountains. Karakol city is situated on the eastern border of the lake.
The starting point for our tour will be Bishkek, the capital and most populated city from Kyrgyzstan. During the tour, you will have the possibility to go downhill across the Terskey Ala-Too, a mountain range in the Tian Shan mountains as well as many different peaks.
This tour offers a wide variety of slope elevation for ascents and descents. Although the levels of difficulty around the lake are different, take into account that the tour is intended for confident skiers. Remember that we can choose different kinds of ascents depending on the group level. If you want, you can also arrange a day off to enjoy Karakol city or any other activity that you prefer.
