Description

Join me to explore the beautiful and accessible Namobuddha trek with friends and family on this incredible 9-day hike. This amazing route in Nepal will take you through charming villages and thick Rhododendron, Mongolia and Sal tree forests.

For this trip, we’ll meet at the Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport and enjoy a sightseeing day at the Nepalese capital. We’ll then drive to Dulikhel, where we will begin our hiking adventure. Throughout the trip, we’ll get to see incredible landscapes and exotic wildlife. We’ll also be able to experience different cultures and traditions.

The highest peak we’ll reach, the Phulchoki, is located at 2765 meters and offers stunning views of the Gaurishanker, Lakpa Dorje, Langtang-Ri, Ganesh Himal, Manaslu and many other mountains.

This area is one of the holiest sites for Nepalese Buddhists, since it is believed Buddha was born there as a prince. It is very common to see believers pilgrimaging there.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu

Day 2: Kathmandu Sightseeing

Sightseeing spots include the World Heritage Site of Kathmandu Durbar Square, the sacred Hindu temple of Pashupati Nath, the “Monkey Temple” (Swayambhu Nath), and the Buddhists shrine (Bouddha Nath).

Day 3: Kathmandu - Dhulikhel and trek to Namobuddha

We’ll drive to Dhulikhel and, from there, hike to Namobuddha.

Day 4: Namobuddha to Balthali

Day 5: Balthali to Bebar danda

Day 6: Bebar danda to Nalludanda

Day 7: Bird watching and hiking

We’ll wake up early to discover some exotic birds in Nalludanda. After breakfast, we’ll hike down to Lele and drive back to Kathmandu.

Day 8: Kathmandu

Day 9: Departure from Kathmandu

Drive to the International Airport for departure.
