Aiguille d’Entreves Guided Traverse

Take on one of the most exciting high-altitude ridge traverses in the Mont Blanc massif!

This scenic high-altitude traverse mixes technical granite climbing with airy ridge sections and impressive views along the French-Italian border.

Starting from the Skyway Monte Bianco above Courmayeur, this half-day guided climb takes you across narrow granite ridges, airy pinnacles, and short climbing sections up to III+/IV- UIAA. With the Glacier du Géant below and the South Face of Mont Blanc and Tour Ronde surrounding you, the route delivers a real sense of high-alpine exposure from start to finish.

You’ll be accompanied by a certified IFMGA/UIAGM mountain guide, who will help you move confidently along the ridge, use short-rope techniques, and handle the more technical sections along the way.

Rated AD-, with around 450 metres of vertical gain and taking roughly 4 to 5 hours, the traverse is a great choice for intermediate climbers or mountaineers looking for a scenic acclimatization climb with a bit more challenge and exposure.
