Aiguille du Toula (3538m) 1-day climb, suitable for beginners

Join me for one of the easiest ascents in the Alps: the Aiguille du Toula (3538 m)! This short and enjoyable climb is also suitable for beginners.

The Aiguille du Toula is a minor peak in the Mont Blanc massif. It lies between the Aiguille d’Entreves and the Grand Flambeau, on the border between Italy and France. In front of the Aiguille De Toula lies the breathtaking Ghiacciai glacier.

This short and easy ascent is a perfect climb for beginners. It is also a good option for those looking to sharpen their mixed climbing skills.

We will start from the small village of La Palud. It’s just 3 kilometres from the center of Courmayeur, in the Aosta Valley. Then, the cable car of the Monte Bianco will take us to the Punta Helbronner  (3462 m). From that point, and after we reach the Col di Toula, we will hike through mixed terrain, with passages of easy rock scrambling, until we reach the Aiguille du Toula summit.

From the top of the mountain, we will enjoy incredible views of the Mont Blanc Massif, and of all the glaciers, valleys and peaks around it.

The climb will take us about 4 to 6 hours in total. Its level of difficulty is graded as F+. Also, please note I can take a maximum of 4 people with me.
