This amazing 2-day ascent of Aiguille du Tour (3540), on the border between France and Switzerland, is a great ascent for beginner mountaineers.
The route to the summit is really fun and also extremely diverse (snow and mix terrain). This is one of the main reasons why I recommend Aiguille du Tour to my clients! It is a particularly great practice route to prepare for more difficult challenges.
The views as you go up are particularly stunning! Because this needle is located between the Glacier du Tour and the Glacier du Trient, the views on the way to the summit are out of this world.
We will be staying at the Refuge Albert 1er. for the night. You won’t believe how comfortable this hut is. And the hosts are really friendly too!
We can attempt this climb between the months of June and September. I can take a maximum of 2 clients with me.
We will meet in Chamonix and start our ascent from Le Tour. You need to be in good physical condition. Some mountaineering experience might help but is not necessary.
If this Aiguille du Tour ascent sounds like a plan, contact me and we’ll work on the details. I promise a truly memorable experience!

The Jura massif is an ideal place to learn and grow your experience in alpine techniques. I practice mountaineering, ski touring and ice climbing in the winter. I am also located very close to the Swiss and French alpine massifs.
First, I started as a ski rescuer. My passion for skiing and climbing helped me discover the classic routes in the mythical summits of the Alps. The first mountain courses I went on with friends as a guide - which I did with a lot of effort, doubts and perseverance - were much needed to build my experience. Still, they also gave me a lot of joy, and I was able to pursue them while laughing and creating beautiful moments shared.
My experience and terrain knowledge will allow you to move safely and enjoy your time, without a promise of the summit but of sharing a privileged and unique moment in the mountains.
Finally, I'm a fully certified IFMGA mountain guide.
Stay up-to-date on the best adventures.
