Description

The Annapurna massif in the Himalayas of Nepal is enormous. As a result, there are multiple different ways you can explore it. Thus creating multiple different experiences, some of which are easy, while others are more difficult. On this 18 day trek, you will have the chance to experience one of the more difficult options. However, with that difficulty comes the reward of some of the most breathtaking views of the Annapurna you will ever get.

After leaving Kathmandu, this trip will consist of days where you will be hiking from between 4 to 7 hours, with one day involving a 9 hour walking day. However, as was mentioned earlier, with more challenge, comes more reward, and for that 9 hour walking day, you will reach the highest point of the trip, the Thorung Pass (5,416m). At the pass, you will get to enjoy some truly spectacular views of the Annapurna, and its many peaks.

Throughout the trip, we will be passing through and spending the night in several different local villages. Some examples include the villages of Tal, Chame, Pisang, Manang, Muktinath, and many more. All of these villages will provide you with an opportunity to meet local people and enjoy delicious local food. Not to mention they also offer their own unique and often breathtaking views of many Himalayan peaks, from Manaslu (8,156m) to HimalChuli (7,893m), along with several other amazing sights.

Trekking through the Annapurna is the kind of experience you will never forget. The vastness and enormity of the area is mesmerising, and on this 18 day journey we want you to enjoy as much of it as possible. So send us a request, and join us on this challenging, but immensely rewarding adventure.

Would you like to explore the Annapurna, but don’t have much experience, or perhaps want to explore it with your family? If so, we also offer this much easier 12 day trekking option.
