Welcome to Jasper National Park, a vast stretch of wilderness in the Canadian ‘Rockies’ that covers 11,000km2. If you’re looking for top quality backcountry skiing then look no further!
We will be exploring the Jasper and Robson valley area on the western edge of the park . This straddles the border between the provinces of Alberta and British Colombia.
A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Jasper National Park is full of glaciers, waterfalls, hot springs and so much more. This means endless opportunities for exploration and breathtaking views at every turn!
This wild landscape receives about 160inches (400cm) of famous cold, dry Alberta powder snow every year. These ideal conditions combined with the magical backdrop can’t fail to fill you with wonder!
We are in the region of the famous Marmot basin, with its numerous ski resorts and runs, yet despite this popularity few dare to venture into the backcountry.
This is where we will be heading, away from the crowds and into the pristine alpine wilderness for the fresh snow and virgin slopes!
If you want to discover the amazing beauty of Jasper National Park and the Jasper/Robson Valley then sign up now! You will experience wonderful powder snow and I will show you all the best spots for the highest quality skiing!
