Description

Nestled in the Selkirk Mountains, part of the Columbia Mountains in British Columbia, is the Kootenays region, home to an endless supply of quality slopes and wild snowy terrain.

Join us for an exciting weekend combination as we head into the backcountry of both the Whitewater Ski Resort and the Kootenay Pass.

With back-to-back guided days, we’ll take you to where you need to explore, while meeting like-minded people.

Backcountry skiing is the ultimate way to get to know our breathtaking backyard.

We’ll head into the wild region along the Kootenays Pass that is sandwiched between Salmo and Creston, where you’ll discover a skier’s paradise. Play around in some of the most varied backcountry runs found anywhere in the world.

Whitewater offers unparalleled open access, a flurry of snowfall, and quality lines, which contributes to its world-class reputation. The best terrain is out of bounds for most at the resort, wondering what it would be like to be on the high slopes in the background.

And with our experience of the area, we’ll show you the best spots and hidden gems, and map out the ideal plan for your journey.

I really loved it. Intro to rock climbing was an amazing experience. Explore-share team were so helpful in the process. The trip that I chose in the first place was not available and they managed to find alternatives and offer me the best possible solution in that situation. In the end I had a wonderful day and could not be happier!

Guide cancelled within 48 hrs and I was unable to find someone else and so far I’ve not been refunded. Put a small dent in my otherwise great trip to Revelstoke.

It would have been helpful to know it was suppose to be a Matterhorn prep course. The goals of the group were a little different.
