Departure from Puerto Natales at 07:00 am and transfer directly to the Las Torres area, where we will arrive at "Estancia Cerro Paine", the starting point of the trail. There, we will receive an informative preliminary talk from our guide before starting the walk. We take the road in the direction of the Valley, and after 10 minutes of walking, we will walk on an old suspension bridge that crosses the Ascencio River. About 150 meters further on, a bifurcation appears: on the left, it leads to the Base of the Towers. Then, follows a zigzag of marked slope and sparse vegetation for an hour. The ascent continues and passes by another slope, and after 45 minutes, the Chileno Camping is reached on the opposite Rivera of the Ascencio River, in the shade of a lenga forest, with a moderate slope, crossing several slopes that fall from Mount Almirante Nieto. After about an hour and 10 minutes from the Chileno campsite, 700 meters above sea level, you reach the foot of the moraine that gives access to the viewpoint. From this point, the path increases its slope. First, it goes next to a watershed and under the shadow of the small trees located at the edge of the moraine, but higher up, the path is lost and must continue ascending among the rocks, some of which are marked to show the route. After about half an hour from the signpost at 700 meters above sea level, you reach the eastern end of the lagoon, from where you have a wonderful view of the three towers (Central, Monzino, D’Agostini) and Peineta and Nido de Cóndores hills. After resting and having lunch in this extraordinary and unique scenic context on the planet, we begin our return along the same path until we reach the starting point, where our driver will be waiting to return at the end of the day to Puerto Natales.

From 06:00, we start the pick-up in Puerto Natales and then head to the Pudeto area to cross Pehoé Lake on a catamaran, to the Paine Grande refuge. From there, we start our trek to the Valle del Francés by a clear path, which runs along the north shore of Lake Pehoé. In a few minutes, there is a light ascent that allows us to leave the lake behind us and appreciate the Cuernos del Paine ahead (2,600 meters above sea level). After 30 minutes, Lake Skottsberg is reached, known for the occasional whirlwinds that the wind forms in its waters. The trail continues along the western shore of the lake, overlooking the Paine Grande (3,050 m). During the walk, several watersheds come from the slopes of the hills and cross the path. We continue towards the Italiano Camp with a spectacular setting, facing the Paine Grande and the French Glacier. From here, you can continue towards the interior of the valley, one of the most beautiful corners of the whole park. The route into Valle del Frances (the intermediate vertical line of the "W") starts at the Italiano Camp. After an hour and a half, we will arrive at an open and windy place called Frances Lookout (680 masl). After concluding with the view of this wonderful landscape, we will start the return to the Paine Grande area to board the boat that brings us back to Pudeto, and go back to Puerto Natales, arriving at the end of the day.

Climbing with guide Guillaume was absolutely a highlight of my 2-week Europe vacation. Originally, we were planning on climbing in the Calanques, but the park was closed due to wind and fire danger. Guillaume chose another amazing location (Pic de Bretagne) based on my climbing abilities and preferences and kindly offered train station pick-up and hotel drop off, which I appreciated very much. The multi-pitch route we did was not only fun but also the right amount of challenge, which I thoroughly enjoyed. The communication from the team (Gauthier) was prompt and clear—highly recommend!

Luis Silva was a great climbing guide and belayer! He taught me how to do moves that were difficult and encouraged me to try routes that were challenging for me! Because of his encouragement, I managed to complete these routes! I really enjoyed the climbs and completed 8 routes in the Sesimbra/Azoia area. The weather was perfect, no direct sun and cool enough to enjoy the climbs. Explore-Share made booking an outdoor climbing experience in Lisbon extremely easy. Luis, our guide, was fantastic, and the platform’s organization was flawless.

Patrick was a great guide. He took us on an intermediate Via Ferrata at Passo Sella. Renato was quick to respond with any outreach on the Explore-Share platform. The booking process was straightforward, and once Patrick was confirmed, all went well. It was a wonderful experience, and I’d highly recommend the platform.
