Join us on this half-day canyoning tour for all ages and discover Susec Canyon, the most beautiful canyon in Slovenia! We will take to a unique world, hidden in the middle of nowhere, where nature has been creating the impossible for thousands of years.
Susec Cayon is a big natural playground, a quiet world of small emerald water pools, narrow valleys and soothing water noises. It also has many exciting not-so-high waterfalls and excellent rocks, ideal for splashing about.
We willl meet in Bovec, a beautiful town in northwestern Slovenia. From there we will head to the tour starting point, which is the finishing point as well. Before we start the activity, we will provide you with all the information you need regarding safety measures during canyoning.
We will enjoy a great canyoning adventure, sliding over natural slides, jumping into natural pools and testing your courage! Susec is very close to Bovec and it is a 1h3-drive from Bled and a 2-hour drive from Ljubljana, the capital city.

In the summer of 1999, at the World Rafting Championship in South Africa, the legendary Bober Beaver rafting team –called Bobri- won the sixth golden medal in a row. Two years later, in Bovec, a small town located near the emerald color Soča River, two members of the Bobri team established a sport agency: Aktivni Planet.
The guides at Aktivni Planet have a lot of experience, due to regular participation at international competitions in slalom kayaking and kayak descent, rafting, and other similar competitions and river explorations around the world, while also teaching those who are willing to learn.
After years of hard work they still do what they love and are fully committed to their work. Moreover, when they are not cruising the rivers they are climbing the Alps, cycling down the local hills or exploring the local cave system, among other exciting activities.
There is no doubt that our guides are unique. Some of them are locals who grew up in the Soča Valley, some are from other parts of Slovenia and even from other parts of the world, but they all gathered in the small town of Bovec.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice. On the day head to take another group but he quickly arranged another guide Borut, who was brilliant. We had a fantastic morning learning via ferrata at Hvadnik in the gorge.
