A 3-day program climbing Cerro Puntudo, a beauty of the Cerro Castillo National Reserve.

Located only at 5 hours walk from Villa Cerro Castillo, Cerro Puntudo has 2140 meters of altitude and is the highest point in a granite massif. It offers a multi pitch climbing crossing a few glaciers.

Itinerary

DAY 1: Meeting at Villa Cerro Castillo. Then we move to Estero Parada. From there we start trekking for 5 hours to the High Camp, where we spend the night.

DAY 2: We climb Cerro Puntudo, and once we arrive to the top we’ll enjoy amazing views of other summits. Afterwards, we descend to High Camp.

DAY 3: Finally, we return to Villa Cerro Castillo.

To conclude, participants don’t need to have prior climbing experience. The only requirement is to have a good physical condition.
