Description

The Aiguilles de Chaleux are found in a majestic environment, at the Lesse valley, near Dinant (Belgium). They are rocky blades rising at a meander of rivers. There are plenty of rocky cliffs and forests in the area.

The "blades" are in fact 50 to 70 meters high, and they form splendid narrow ridges. Note that this massif is not apt for large groups since climbing is essentially of multi-pitch routes on the rope with others.

I suggest to take either one or two days for this trip. Depending on your time available, I will decide the program for you to fully enjoy the trip. Of course I will also consider your physical shape and your experience to set the level, which can be from easy to sustained.

I really like guiding my friends and clients on this trip because:
– The views over the Lesse valley are beautiful
– It's ideal for multi-pitch routes with 2 to 3 people on the rope
– It's a great aerial climb right above the river.

Freyr is another excellent option for rock climbing, with over 600 routes to choose from. Have a look at it!

Interested in doing some rock climbing at Chaleux? Then please contact me to book this trip! It will be my pleasure taking you to this beautiful destination.
