Description

Eager to cross from France to Switzerland via the unique 'Haute Route' that connects Chamonix to Zermatt? It's a quiet demanding but super rewarding experience, probably the best you'll live in the Alps!

Join this 6-day splitboarding tour and get immersed in a fantastic white world, full of mountains and glaciers. And of course, the best powder runs to enjoy superb snowboarding descents!

This traverse starts in Chamonix, from where we'll take a ski lift and go to Aiguille du Midi. Here we'll have a training lesson on how to properly use the avalanche transceiver. After that, exciting days of splitbording await ahead, in Grands Montets, Coll de Chardonnet, and Plateau de Trient. Then, a traverse to Champez and a taxi ride to Verbier to spend a great night at Mont Fort mountain hut.

Finally we will ascent Pigne d’Arolla (3776 m) on day 5 and snowboard down to the Vignettes mountain hut so that we'll enjoy a traverse the last day, in direction to Coll de Valpelline with a final long ski descent to Zermatt.

If you're an intermediate splitboarder looking for some fun in the Chamonix-Zermatt Haute Route, send your request and make your reservation now!

I also lead programs aimed at ski tourers like this 5-day trip in Carros de Foc , Pyrenees.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice. On the day head to take another group but he quickly arranged another guide Borut, who was brilliant. We had a fantastic morning learning via ferrata at Hvadnik in the gorge. It gave us the confidence to later hire our own equipment and go out in Mojstrana. Altogether a five star + experience. Thank you.
