Highlights

At 3777 meters of altitude the Lanin Volcano is one of the highest volcanoes in the Patagonian “Ring of Fire”. This beautiful mountain has a perfectly aesthetic volcanic cone shape.

Although its south and east faces are glaciated, the classic route is over volcanic rock and snow. We’ll therefore ascend it by its north face with 2500 meters of solid climbing. It’s good to know that here in South America the north faces of the mountains in the Andes get more sun!

This ascent is perfect to do during wintertime. From September on, the snow conditions usually allow ski mountaineers to put their skis on right at the base of the Lanin volcano.

I have no doubt it will be a fantastic experience. Moreover, as I guide small groups of people you’ll enjoy a really personalized trip. In case I am not available, my brother Cristobal will lead the adventure.

All you have to do is getting in touch with me. It’ll be my pleasure to be your guide and make best use of this day in the Lanin Volcano!

    IFMGA/UIAGM Mountain Guide from Chile

I was born in 1987, and since I was young I’ve been around the mountains, and for the past 12 years I’ve been practicing all mountain disciplines.

Some highlights of my climbing career: First Chilean to Cerro Torre via Ragni, first Torres del Paine alpine style traverse, and many other first ascents.

I did the IFMGA/UIAGM aspirant course in Bolivia in 2016, and recently got my full IFMGA certification in April 2018. I have also AIARE level 2 training.

Come and discover the mountains of Chile, a wonderful country, where we will have a unique experience together with a professional guide, in a truly unforgettable trip, it will be a pleasure to be able to guide you through some of the mountains of my country in your next vacations, i am sure will be the first of many adventures that we will enjoy together in the mountains of the Andes.
