When it comes to amazing mountains in the Alps, there are few, if any, that attract more people and more attention than Mont Blanc (4,810m). This mammoth mountain, which is the highest in the Alps, attracts climbers from around the world. And, on this 2-day adventure, I would like to take you to the peak’s summit via the normal Italian route.
Our adventure will begin in Courmayeur. From there, we will make our way to the Rifugio Gonella through the Miage glacier (1,700m). We will spend the night in the refuge, where you can enjoy some dinner and a comfortable night’s sleep. On the following day, we will make our way to the summit of Mont Blanc. After you’ve soaked in the majestic views of the surrounding peaks, as well as the valleys of Chamonix and Courmayeur, we will make our way back to Chamonix before returning to Italy.
In order to participate on this trip, you should have some prior mountaineering experience. You should also be in good physical condition.
If you’re going to climb a mountain in the Alps, why not climb the highest in the entire range? If that sounds like an adventure you want to enjoy for yourself, please send a request and join me to the summit of Mont Blanc. I look forward to guiding you.
I also offer a 2-day ascent of the amazing Matterhorn Mountain, which you can enjoy here.

Mountain Guide
My name is Marco Bigatti, nicknamed “Il Biga”. I was born in Milan, I started climbing in 2006 and since then I have not been able to tear myself away from the vertical world. I turned my passion into a job, becoming Mountain Guide in October 2017, the first mountain guide that lives all the year in Sardinia.
I experience the mountains from a 360-degree point of view. I have practiced all disciplines of climbing in the Alps: rock climbing, alpinism, ice climbing , as well as ski mountaineering.
In addition to alpinism, I love pure sport climbing, seeking out the best climbing sectors throughout the entire Alpine range. But it was in Sardinia that I found a paradise of crags, in particular in the south-west of the island, where you are able to enjoy all types of climbing throughout the year.
I offer climbing day or trips for beginners or experienced climbers who need a guide, multipitch packages for those who want to live an alpine experience, climbing courses, all-inclusive climbing holiday with accommodation in our nice B&B by the sea, guided trekking and mountain biking tours.

Guide Marco was great and kept me safe and informed throughout the trip. Ok trip b/c of lighting. Also, I was tired due to allergies and this wasnt best time for me to go up. Also, after coming back home I found out that we had used the whole trail through the moraine at the bottom of the glacier when in reality a guidebook I had showed we should have the upper part of the trail on the ridge (above moraine) which would have avoided much walk in the unstable rocks. We took that part of the trail on the descent but could have used it on the way up as well, according to my guidebook on mt blanc. Probably wouldnt have changed too much but contributed to my tiredness from, in part, due to my lack of experience on moraine/rock filled trails. Overall a good experience though
Stay up-to-date on the best adventures.
