Description

Climbing Aconcagua is the dream of many mountaineers, and for good reason. Join us on this 18-day Andes expedition and let us take you to the summit of the highest peak in South America!

Rising up 6962 meters, Aconcagua is often known as the roof of America, and it attracts climbers and mountaineers from all around the world. It’s not a technical ascent, but it’s challenging due to the high altitude, and the climate conditions.  Furthermore, it’s a must for anyone attempting the Seven Summits, and a great excuse to travel to Argentina’s gorgeous Mendoza province (where all the good wine is made). Climbing Aconcagua is an adventure you will never forget!

Our 18-day program is specially designed to ensure proper acclimatization in the mountain, but we also include a detailed training plan for the previous months that will help you prepare for the intense climbing days that we will enjoy together.

We will tackle the ascent via the Normal Route, which goes through the North-West ridge of Aconcagua. We will meet in Mendoza city, and from there, we’ll go together to Aconcagua National Park. The starting point is in Horcones Valley. The first few days we’ll head to Confluencia, and then to Plaza de Mulas basecamp. We will spend some days acclimatizing there, before we start our journey to the high camps: Plaza Canadá, Nido de Cóndores and Berlín. From Nido de Cóndores or Berlín we will make our summit attempt.

You can find a detailed itinerary below and all the necessary information to join this 18-day climbing Aconcagua expedition. There are few scheduled dates that you can join!

So contact me if you are interested in joining one of your groups for the climbing Aconcagua expedition. We will be happy to have you!

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice. On the day head to take another group but he quickly arranged another guide Borut, who was brilliant. We had a fantastic morning learning via ferrata at Hvadnik in the gorge. It gave us the confidence to later hire our own equipment and go out in Mojstrana. Altogether a five star + experience. Thank you.
