2 Days
Jun, Jul, Aug, Sep
The Meije is probably the most emblematic summit in the Massif de l’Oisans. Meije Orientale (3891m) is the most easterly of its top edges. Its North ridge offers a beautiful snowy affordable race.
I take my friends and clients up there between June and September.
The climb in 2 days with a night at the Eagle Refuge. I manage up to 2 people. Beyond a second guide is present.
Here is the program that I propose:
Day 1 :
Departure from the Hamlet of Villard-of Arena. Climb to the Eagle refuge. This long climb to the highest refuge of the massif is a separate race. Easy passage to rock and walk on the glacier Tabuchet.
Schedule: 6 to 8
Elevation: 1750m
Day 2:
Ascent from and descent to the Refuge de l’Aigle. The Tabuchet glacier leads us to the foot of a large snow slope. (40 degrees) Our route continues with a stop joint to the top.
Schedule: 4 to 5 hours
Elevation: 500m
Difficulty: PD level (somewhat difficult). Steep passage snow. Running at altitude.
A good fitness level is required.
I invite you to contact me if this beautiful mountaineering program is what you like. I’d be happy to take you there and make you live a unique experience.

Mountain Guide
I was born in 1990 and I am based in Toulon. I am a high mountain guide and photographer. I started loving climbing during my youth, and I later discovered alpinism. This took me to visit many paths in the Alps, as well as expeditions. At the same time, I became a high mountain guide when I was 24 because I loved it and wanted to share my passion.
I like to travel and I offer my services in the French massifs (Mercantour, Hautes Alpes, Chamonix) and abroad (Switzerland, Italy) all year long. I will do my best to enrich your journey with my experience and to guide you to reach you dream summit.

Robin was everything you want in a guide: competent, congenial, and careful though seemingly casual. He taught my daughter to belay and allowed me to lead. He was wonderfully patient in letting us figure out a problem rather than tell us how to solve it. We had a wonderful Day 1 tackling short pitches, as I had requested. Day 2, however, was a terrible disappointment. I had asked that we spend it on a multi pitch route, and had high hopes for a challenging day out as my daughter had told Robin on Day 1 she would not be joining us. Since the forecast included rain later, Robin and I met at 7:45am. But the route, while multi pitch, was more walking/scrambling than climbing, so that we made it back to our cars in less than 2 hours. I was shocked to learn we were finished for the day. Given what I paid, this was poor value. I would not be able to recommend Explore-Share as a result.

Nice climb. Run into a bad weather at gorges du Verdon. Was able to change to another climb near Cassis. The view is pretty. Explore share response is quick.

Climbing w Robin in the Gorges Verdon area was a dream come true. Robin is a fun guide to be with. He's very knowledgeable of the routes very safe in his practice and a very strong climber who makes it look easy. We did 2 long multi pitch routes that make me want to come back again and bring my friends.
Stay up-to-date on the best adventures.
