Climbing Mont Blanc is a must for mountaineering enthusiasts! On this 5-day program, I will guide you to the top of this emblematic peak and make sure you reach it!
At 4,808 m, Mont Blanc is the Alp’s brightest star. It is the highest mountain in Western Europe, and also, one of the most popular. Although climbing Mont Blanc is not technically difficult, getting to the top of this stunning giant poses challenges all the same. This is why I have designed a program with a double chance to reach the summit.
We will begin our adventure in Chamonix practicing crampon and ice ax techniques. The following day, we will enjoy some acclimatization and training on Aiguille de Midi. Finally, on the third day, we will be ready to set off on our Mont Blanc adventure. Depending on the weather, we will have the chance to climb to the summit on days 4 and 5. You can find a full description of the itinerary below.
So, are you ready for a thrilling Mont Blanc climbing experience? Then book your place now and join me on this unforgettable 5-day adventure!
I also offer a 1-day alpine climbing program in the Mont Blanc massif, check it out!
Introduction and familiarization with crampon and ice axe techniques. Possible location: Mer De Glace.
Acclimatization & training day at Aiguille du Midi. Traverse of Pointe Lachenal or Cosmique Ridge or Tour Ronde ascent. We spend the night in a hut in altitude for better acclimatization.

Mountain Guide
I am an IFMGA mountain guide living in Cyprus. I have a passion for exploring the mountains since I was child. Kyperounda, the town where I was born and raised, was my first playground, the place where I started practising different outdoor activities.
First I learnt skiing. Then, I started training and taking part in races and competitions, traveling extensively in Europe. As I am very curious, I kept trying all kinds of sports until I discovered climbing and all its exciting possibilities.
I also developed both my academic and my practical skills in the university, where I studied Outdoor Studies and Sport Science. During that time, I obtained qualifications as a Mountain Leader and a Climber.
Teaching other people is one of the things I like the most. I find a deep joy in helping others to enjoy the mountains as much as I do.
The experience of all these years as well as my technical skills, have taken me closer to my goal: becoming an IFMGA mountain guide.

Kyriakos was an amazing mountain guide. Very professional and thorough, very knowledgeable and calm, and treated us with patience since it was our first mountaineering adventure and we faced different challenges. He went out of his way to offer us alternatives to the various difficulties that came to our path, and he made sure that we reached our goal with safety. Thank you Kyriakos, we had an amazing time! Till next time

The trip rating is actually for summiting Gran Paradiso rather than Mont Blanc. Unfortunately the conditions for Mont Blanc were very poor with all the thawing of the permafrost enabling many rock slides. Explore-Share receives a 4 as the instructions for wiring funds were consistently incomplete. The address for Explore-Share that is on file with the bank is required not just the address of the bank.
Stay up-to-date on the best adventures.
