Description

Nevado Pisco in Peru is one of the most popular peaks in the Cordillera Blanca for mountaineering. Follow me on an incredible 3-day trip to this summit and discover why everybody loves it.

The Cordillera Blanca is one of the most beautiful mountain chains in the world. It covers 180 kilometers from North to South and is home to 663 glaciers, 16 main mountains, 269 lagoons and 41 rivers. Nevado Pisco (5,752 m) is known as one of the first acclimatization peaks for those looking to conquer one of the over-6,000-meter summits.

For this adventure, we’ll begin our trip in Huaraz (3,100m) and travel to Cebollapampa (3,900m). Then, we’ll ascend towards the Pisco Base Camp (4,600m) or to Peru Refuge (4,675m). On the second day, we’ll reach Nevado Pisco’s summit and go back to our camp. This is the longest day, with 10 hours of ascent, but the views of the Cordillera Blanca we’ll get at the top are worth it. We’ll get to see the Chacraraju, Huandoy, Huascarán and Chopicalqui, just to name a few. Finally, on the third day, we’ll go down to Cebollapampa and back to Huaraz.

Keep in mind that this trip can also be accomplished in two days if the group is properly acclimatized and has the necessary experience. Whichever your preference, let me know.

So, are you ready to discover the wonderful mountains of Peru? Then send your request. I’ll take care of all the details to provide you with a wonderful experience.
