Type of Trip
This 9-day expedition will take us to three iconic mountains of Cordillera Blanca, in the Peruvian Andes. In Cordillera Blanca there are around 200 peaks higher than 5000 m. We will go to Nevado Maparaju (5325 m), then Huapi (5421 m) and finally Ishinca (5550 m).
During this hike, we can appreciate the mountains and lagoons surrounding Cordillera Blanca. They are a feast for the eyes!
Climbing Maparaju, Huapi and Ishinca is a great adventure for foreign climbers. In fact, it is a great option if you are already properly acclimatized and want to continue exploring.
We will follow the route: Valley Quillqueyhuanca – Cojup – Ishinca.
During the hiking part of the trip, we will camp. We have a cook to prepare your meals.
Please contact me if this beautiful trip in the Andes in Peru sounds interesting! I would love guiding you up there.

I enjoys doing sports climbing and opening new avenues in the cordillera Blanca, and in other countries. My wide experience has meant that he has climbed most of the mountains in cordillera blanca.
