Description

Minnesota and Wisconsin have varied and interesting rock climbing spots for all levels and skills. This time, we are offering a fantastic full day experience for those who have rock climbed before but want to try a little more.

We have designed an intermediate rock climbing day class to move on to the next level after having taken your first steps in this activity. Remember that we also offer an introductory rock climbing course that you can take if you do not have experience.

Now it is time to push your limits on more challenging routes. Some of the rock climbing sites where we are running these courses are:

  • Devil’s Lake State Park: located south of Baraboo, Wisconsin;

  • Interstate Park: just in the border between Wisconsin and Minnesota, on the St. Croix River surrounded by incredible rock formations;

  • Tettegouche State Park in Minnesota where we can visit the Shovel Point or the Sliver Bay, very popular cliffs over the lake.

During this one day course we will teach you how to move more effectively on the rocks and how to manage your strengths and weaknesses to become a better climber. You will also learn some rappelling techniques. Off course we will provide ropes, proper shoes, harnesses and helmets. Everything is ready, you just need to say YES!

Book your trip now by clicking on the green request button. It will be a honor for us to guide you in Minnesota or Wisconsin.

I really loved it. Intro to rock climbing was an amazing experience. Explore-share team were so helpful in the process. The trip that I chose in the first place was not available and they managed to find alternatives and offer me the best possible solution in that situation. In the end I had a wonderful day and could not be happier!

Guide cancelled within 48 hrs and I was unable to find someone else and so far I’ve not been refunded. Put a small dent in my otherwise great trip to Revelstoke.

It would have been helpful to know it was suppose to be a Matterhorn prep course. The goals of the group were a little different.

I was very glad to have the Back country ski tour in Montata by following reasons. 1. I had quick replies from my coordinator and guide whenever I asked something; 2. My guide was cool. 3. The tour was well-planned and appropriate duration. 4. Snow was in a good condition. Thank you!!
