Rock climbing on natural sites is a spectacular experience. From the views to the thrill of scaling a wall that has stood for thousands of years it is definitely something worth doing if you ever have the chance. And on this full-day trip, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, you will get to climb on several different cliffs in Wallonia, Belgium.
The spots we will be focusing on during this day-long trip are Pont-a-Lesse, Grand Malades and Goyet. Each one of these spots will definitely impress and satisfy you. They are all unique and beautiful in their own special way.
This is a beginner level course. We will be focusing on climbing fundamentals that are crucial for safe and successful climbing. Some of what we will cover include safety techniques, sign language, abseiling, food placement, grip, balance and much more. And because this trip is meant for beginners, the only experience you require is some prior indoor wall climbing. Finally, the minimum age for this trip is only 10 years. Thus making it ideal for families to enjoy.
While rock climbing may not be the first thing you think about when thinking about Belgium, there are nonetheless several great spots, particularly in Wallonia. If you are new to natural rock climbing and would like to enjoy those spots, while learning several important climbing skills, just send me a request.

Léo was a great guide! He was very friendly and super knowledgeable about the bouldering area. He brought us to really fun boulders and demonstrated the beta for each one, which was very helpful.
Chris
Lèo did an amazing job and picked locations with boulders suitable for the whole family, including a six year old.
Willem
Willie is a very kind and experienced person. We enjoyed our climbing with him.

Our family had a great time with Leo -- he was an all-around fantastic guide. He knew Font so well, he was able to identify the best problems for our group, down to the individual. He was safety-conscious while also being laid back and fun-loving. He was really great with our 10yo and 12yo kids, who have a lot of climbing experience but can definitely still use support and pointers. And he was also great with me (a beginner) and my husband (an expert). On top of all of it, he was fun to climb with, and we all loved watching him get a problem he'd not sent before. A really great day!

Had a great time! Only wish it was a little longer.
