Climbing the Dolomites summits along easy and beautiful routes is an experience that every rock climber must have! And on this 4-day adventure, I will guide you to the best spots for your level.
We will start our adventure from the gorgeous Val di Fassa. The plan: we will spend the first day in a crag (angle pitch) to verify your level and review basic safety actions. Then, on the following days, depending on your level, we can choose some of the routes around the Torri del Vajolet, Torri del Sella, Pordoi, and Sasso Lungo. You can find an outline of a sample itinerary below.
While in the mountains, we will spend the night in cozy huts. Down in the valley, if necessary, you have several options including camping, bed and breakfast, or hotels. I am happy to arrange the reservations if you would like me to.
For an overall great experience, it is better to have a grade V in climbing and a good fitness level. Additionally, you must have belay and rappelling experience.

Mountain Guide
The desire to turn my passion for the mountains into my profession led me train as a professional mountain guide. I became a certified IFMGA guide in 2005 and have spent more than 200 days per year on the mountains ever since.
Although I usually work in the Mont Blanc area, Monterosa, the Lepontine Alps and the Dolomites, I'm always eager to explore more remote places and have truly unique experiences. I have extensive experience in the Lofoten Islands, in Norway, as well.
To me, reaching the summit is important but not as much as enjoying the journey and sharing some unforgettable moments. The ascent usually provides the chance to enjoy the views, while a night in a bivouac is always a good opportunity to look at the stars and share a good talk.
I speak English, French and Italian, of course.

Paolo was an amazing guide. He was absolutely wiling to work with me to develop the best itinerary for some of the more technical peaks and routes that I was looking to complete in the Alps. I have climbed a lot of technical routes in the Alps, but this was my first time with a guide. He made me feel safe through some technical terrain and we worked together to manage objective risk as much as we could. He guides all over the Alps and does not just repeat Blanc over and over again. I would absolutely reach out to Paolo again for more trips in the Alps. Specifically, he is quite skilled at guiding for rock climbing and ski touring in addition to the big glaciated peaks I did with him.
Stay up-to-date on the best adventures.
