Over the course of 15 days, we will make our way from Kathmandu to Lukla and on to the iconic Mount Everest Base Camp, all the way to 5,364 meters above sea level!

As we go, we will have the chance to visit various traditional Sherpa villages, including Namche Bazaar, the unofficial Sherpa capital. From this stunning spot of culture and commerce, we will get our first impressive views out over Mount Everest.

After Namche Bazaar, we continue steadily gaining altitude on our approach to the base camp. Each day, the mountain draws nearer and the scenery becomes more forbidding but intensely beautiful.

On the eve of our ascent to base camp, we will pass over a stunning ridge, which affords us views of Mt.Tawache, Ama Dablam, Pokalde (5741m), Kongma-tse (5820m) and the great wall of Nuptse.

The highlight of the trip is reaching the base camp and feeling the indescribable sensation of being in the shadow of the world's highest peak. After descending from the mountain, we go for an encore.

The following morning, we will summit Kala Patthar (5545m) and watch a truly sublime sunrise over Everest. We will also get incredible views out over Mt Pumori, Mt Lingtren, Mt Khumbetse, Mt Nuptse, Mt Lhotse, Mt Ama Dablam, Mt Thamserku and many more.

On the way down, the adventure will continue as we visit the world's premier high altitude museum and continue enjoying phenomenal views of the Himalayas.

We had an amazing Mardi Himal trek. We booked last minute and we were dealt with promptly and professionally. The trek was fully customisable including a stay in a lovely hotel and bus rides to and from Kathmandu. Our guide Amir was awesome and made our trek everything we wanted. Thank you so much!
