Trekking to the mythical Everest Base Camp (EBC) in Nepal is a once-in-a lifetime adventure and a must for every mountain lover. I invite you to join me on this 18-day trip and discover the unique Sherpa culture and the most spectacular Himalayan scenery in the Khumbu region.
This amazing trek will take us through a fascinating landscape of majestic snow-capped peaks, via the beautiful lakes of the Goyko valley and the Cho La Pass, passing by sherpa villages and ancient buddhist monasteries.
The Everest Base Camp (5364m) is the gateway for mountaineers from all over the world to climb Mount Everest (8848m), the highest mountain in the world. I propose a programme with group departure from Madrid, flying together to the vibrant and caothic Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal.
From Kathmandu, we will fly to Lukhla (2850m). From there, we will begin our trek into the spectacular high valley of Khumbu, passing by the colourful village of Namche Bazaar. During the trek we will be staying at traditional tea houses.
As we follow the path we will get spectacular views of mythical mountains, like Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse and Ama Dablam, from famous viewpoints like Goyko Ri and Kala Patthar. On our way back we will also pass by the famous Tingboche Monastery. You can check the day-by-day itinerary below.
Trekking to Everest Base Camp is definitely a lifetime experience you shouldn’t miss. Send me a request and join me on this unique journey in the majestic Nepalese Himalayas.
The small groups and the personalized attention, are the value of added quality to the routes that I propose to you.
