Description

Do you have ambitions to climb larger, more challenging and complicated rock walls? Then it is important to learn the skills and techniques necessary for safe and successful multi-pitch rock climbing. And on this 2-day trip, I would like to guide you through a fun, informative and scenic multi-pitch rock climbing course in Wallonia, Belgium.

This course will take place predominantly at Yvoir and Beez. These beautiful climbing areas will provide you with the perfect spots to practice what you learn during the course. They also offer great views of Wallonia as well.

Throughout this course you will learn how to make a relay, to assure your second, to link lengths, climb in reverse, abseil and avoid mistakes and difficult situations. We will also focus on different types of relay, communication, rescue and self-rescue techniques, equipment usage and much more.

In order to participate in this trip, you should have prior experience with cliff climbing as a first rope. You should also be at least 12 years of age.

Multi-pitch rock climbing is a thrilling activity. It can also be challenging as you take on more complex routes on bigger rock faces. As a result, this course will help you learn much of the skills and techniques that are crucial for successful multi-pitch rock climbing. He explained in detail how the safety features work as well as what to be careful for in terms of falling and the dangers associated with them. And the dangers associated with them. Our group had a great experience. Most of us were at Font for the first time so this was a great intro. The guide was helpful and even offered to drive us back to Paris rather than us having to take the train. Some coordination info on the website was unclear but I was able to chat with a representative online to get it sorted. Only regret was not signing up for the full day experience!
