This 7 day trip will begin in the famous French resort town of Chamonix. From Chamonix you will have access to several gorgeous peaks. Those peaks include the Aiguille du Argentiere (3,901m) and the Col du Passon (3,028m). The ascents are amazing, and are full of breathtaking views. And after you’ve enjoyed their summits, you will get to enjoy thrilling splitboarding descents as you make your way down them. In this portion of the trip, you will also get to spend 2 nights in the comfortable Argentiere mountain hut (2,771m).
For the second half of the trip we will venture into Italy. After crossing the border, we will climb to the Vittorio Emanuele mountain hut (2,732m), where we will spend a night. The following day, we will ascend the Gran Paradiso. From this amazing peaks’s summit, you will get to enjoy even more unforgettable views of the Alps. Afterwards, you will get to experience yet another exciting splitboarding descent!
In order to participate in this trip, you should have prior mountaineering and splitboarding experience. Good physical fitness is also a must for this trip as it will be very physically demanding.
Gran Paradiso is a wonderful mountain that is just as much fun on the way up as it is on the way down. To experience it for yourself, along with other peaks and glaciers, send me a request, and let me guide you for a week of great views and great fun.
