Dolomite Mountains

3 Days

Jun - Oct

Description

Tre Cime di Lavaredo / Drei Zinnen located in the Dolomites in Italy is probably one of the best known mountain ranges in the Alps. It offers some of the greatest climbing routes worldwide. Many rock climbers from all around the world go there to live a very unique mountain experience.

I will bring you on a very special guided climbing trip on the 3 peaks during 3 days. The length of our stay can of course be adapted based on the time you have and what you wish to do there.

I enjoy very much guiding and climbing there because the routes are really spectacular and the views breathtaking. The Tre Cime di Lavaredo range stands alone with no other mountains around, which increase the feeling you have about its height and its beauty.

I will take 2 persons maximum with me on the rope. I can provide you with a climbing harness and a helmet. The normal routes are not too difficult (Grade 3 UIAA).

The best period to climb in Tre Cime di Lavaredo runs from June till October. I recommend to come in June, September or October in order to avoid the crowd and enjoy the silence while climbing.

There are 3 mountain huts in the area. We will be staying at Rifugio Auronzo (2330m). It’s a kind of hotel situated on the south side of the 3 peaks / zinnen.

The best way to access it if you come by plane is to fly to Bolzano in Italy or Innsbruck in Austria.

Please get in touch with me if some climbing in the Dolomites is on your bucket list. I’ll be very glad to guide you here and bring you to the greatest spots.

Mathias was excellent. He brought us to good snow even in a low snow week. He was kind, friendly and very knowledgeable. Next time we bring skins!

Sean

My guide ended up being a local snowboard guide named Peter. It was excellent. Lovely guy, we got to ride some powder as well as practice searching with the avalanche rescue equipment. All round good day. Would highly recommend
