Lying in the heart of the Valais, the region of Susten is an ideal destination for winter adventures in the Swiss Alps. This time, I propose to take you on a half-day heliski trip!
Our starting point will be the small town of Ambri, in the Leventina Valley.
We’ll meet there at 8.30 AM.
A short 15-minute helicopter flight over the Gotthard Massif will allow us to reach an isolated region in the mountains. We’ll land at an altitude of 3200 m and then enjoy a superb ski descent of 1400 m on Stein glacier that will lead us to the town of Steingletscher (1865 m).
Sounds exciting? Here comes the best part of the adventure: the helicopter will be waiting for us in Steingletscher, ready to take us on a second flight and a new ski descent!
We’ll return to Ambri by midday (between 12.30 and 1 PM).
This trip is intended for a group of 4 people, all of them must be good skiers. You can ask for additional flights at an extra cost.
Join me on this heliskiing journey and enjoy the Swiss Alps from a different perspective! Send me a request and we’ll start planning this skiing adventure.
