Description

Hitch a helicopter to the wild slopes of the Canadian mountains in British Columbia for the day.

Located 14 kilometers outside the town of Golden, we’ll base ourselves at the Kicking Horse Mountain Resort. Offering over 2,000 square kilometers of skiing terrain, the resort is also home to the fourth highest drop in North America, at 1,260 meters.

With exceptional backcountry access, its snow is characterised as light and dry. Snowfall ranges from around 254cm near the bottom of the mountain to around 700cm towards the peak.

If you have only one free day, then this is the ultimate skiing experience. Join me for a day of heliskiing from our exclusive helipad at the resort.

The vast ungroomed terrain present serious experiences and ultimate rides. And because we operate only one group at a time, the wild slopes are exclusive only for you.

Potential participants should be able to ride along advanced terrain of a ski resort with confidence. And also have a good level of fitness. It is also highly recommended that you have previous off-piste experience, while deep powder experience is an asset but not required.

Guide cancelled within 48 hrs and I was unable to find someone else and so far I’ve not been refunded. Put a small dent in my otherwise great trip to Revelstoke.

Guide was very experienced and very patient with us. We learned alot and he tried to fit in all the knowledge he could in one day, super awesome. A little tough going back and forth to get the trip set up hard to tell if the site is sketchy until you see reviews but all worked out. Ended up with an awesome day with an awesome guide. Overall pretty satisfied and thankful!

Nate was very knowledgeable and got me to the top of mountain. He’s not as engaging as most of the guides I’ve had over the years. I’ve learned a lot about most of my climbs as guides talk about the mountain and the area maybe even plant and animals and I enjoy getting to know them better. We did talk a bit more on the way out of the trailhead. All in all a good experience. But not sure your company told him I had a knee replacement and would be slow.
