Description

There are many hiking routes in Nepal. This one in particular is in my opinion one of the best short ones. We stay away from the principal hiking routes and enjoy the imposing views in the area. Indeed, the Dhaulagiri and Annapurna ranges are in front of us.

We will go through remote Gurung villages, also beautiful forests.

We go to Pokhara, then visit tranquil villages and terraced crops with beautiful views of Annapurnas. At this point, we leave civilisation behind. We will hike in rhododendron forests. Our aim is Kopra Ridge (3660 m), from where we see an incredible scenery. For example, the towering Nilgiri peaks, Annapurna South (7237 m), Annapurna I (8091 m) and the Dhaulagiri.

The trip starts ar Nayapul – Pirethanto. Then the return route goes down by alpine country, taking another trail to Pokhara.

I propose an itinerary which I can of course adapt based on your time here and your wishes.

If you are interested by this trekking program or if you wish something different please get in touch with me and let’s discuss about it! I will guide you here with much pleasure and share with you all I know about my country and culture!

If you want to learn mountaineering, the Himalaya is the ideal place to do so: have a look at this mountaineering course that I offer!
