Ice climbing in the Ecrins is world-famous for all the good reasons! So come join me on these 3 or 5-day ice climbing advanced level courses and discover all the advantages the area has to offer.
These courses are targeted to those wishing to improve their technical skills and tackle more challenging walls. We will work on autonomy and on the mental and physical preparation for ice climbing.
These ice climbing courses are a great way to fully immerse yourself in this activity during a few days. You will get to see some big improvements in a short time!
Join me and together we will go find the best and largest frozen waterfalls the Alps have to offer. I am a local guide and can thus take you to all the best ice climbing spots in the Ecrins!
You need to have previous ice climbing experience and be in an excellent physical condition to take this course. For safety reasons, I can only take a maximum of two people on this course!
Apart from this option, I also offer a 3 or 5-day discovery course for beginners. We’ll go through all the different techniques involved, with special emphasis on security and progression. You just need to be in a good physical condition to participate.
However, if you’d prefer a one-day course for your first time ice climbing, check out another one of my programs: Ice climbing initiation day in the Ecrins.
Come join me on this course and enjoy an amazing few days in one of France’s most renowned ice climbing areas. Contact me for further details and I’ll be happy to answer any questions you may have!

What happens if I need to cancel the trip?
If you decide to cancel, you’ll get a 100% refund (minus fees) if the cancellation is notified up to 60 days before the start of the tour, a 75% refund (minus fees) if you cancel between 59 and 30 days before the start of the tour, and a 50% refund if you cancel between 29 and 21 days before the start of the tour. If you cancel less than 21 days before the first day of the tour, you won’t receive a refund. Take into account, however, that if accommodation, flights or transfers were included in the trip you booked, then a different policy may apply as the guide will be bound by the provider’s cancellation policy.
What happens if the guide cancels the trip because of bad weather/unsuitable conditions?
If bad weather or unsuitable conditions force the guide to cancel the trip, he or she will: a) propose a similar activity at a different place where conditions are better, or b) propose to postpone the activity until a later date, or c) cancel. If you refuse option a), our cancellation policy will apply. Please note, however, that the call to cancel a trip due to bad weather can only be made by the guide (not the client).
What happens if the guide doesn’t show up or cancels for personal reasons?
If the guide cancels for reason of injury or other, you will get a 100% refund on your trip.
If you stay for several days: B&B Le Moulin Papillon in Argentiere la Besee
The indicated price is my daily guiding fee.
About the Guide
I was born in 1990 and I am based in Toulon. I am a high mountain guide and photographer. I started loving climbing during my youth, and I later discovered alpinism. This took me to visit many paths in the Alps, as well as expeditions. At the same time, I became a high mountain guide when I was 24 because I loved it and wanted to share my passion.
I like to travel and I offer my services in the French massifs (Mercantour, Hautes Alpes, Chamonix) and abroad (Switzerland, Italy) all year long. I will do my best to enrich your journey with my experience and to guide you to reach you dream summit.
