Description

Ice climbing in the Ecrins is world-famous for all the good reasons! So come join me on these 3 or 5-day ice climbing advanced level courses and discover all the advantages the area has to offer.

These courses are targeted to those wishing to improve their technical skills and tackle more challenging walls. We will work on autonomy and on the mental and physical preparation for ice climbing.

These ice climbing courses are a great way to fully immerse yourself in this activity during a few days. You will get to see some big improvements in a short time!

Join me and together we will go find the best and largest frozen waterfalls the Alps have to offer. I am a local guide and can thus take you to all the best ice climbing spots in the Ecrins!

You need to have previous ice climbing experience and be in an excellent physical condition to take this course. For safety reasons, I can only take a maximum of two people on this course!

Apart from this option, I also offer a 3 or 5-day discovery course for beginners. We'll go through all the different techniques involved, with special emphasis on security and progression. You just need to be in a good physical condition to participate.

However, if you'd prefer a one-day course for your first time ice climbing, check out another one of my programs: Ice climbing initiation day in the Ecrins.

Come join me on this course and enjoy an amazing few days in one of France's most renowned ice climbing areas. Contact me for further details and I'll be happy to answer any questions you may have!

About the guide

I was born in 1990 and I am based in Toulon. I am a high mountain guide and photographer. I started loving climbing during my youth, and I later discovered alpinism. This took me to visit many paths in the Alps, as well as expeditions. At the same time, I became a high mountain guide when I was 24 because I loved it and wanted to share my passion.
I like to travel and I offer my services in the French massifs (Mercantour, Hautes Alpes, Chamonix) and abroad (Switzerland, Italy) all year long. I will do my best to enrich your journey with my experience and to guide you to reach you dream summit.

Climbing w Robin in the Gorges Verdon area was a dream come true. Robin is a fun guide to be with. He's very knowledgeable of the routes very safe in his practice and a very strong climber who makes it look easy. We did 2 long multi pitch routes that make me want to come back again and bring my friends.

The trip with Robin was awesome! I didn't have a car, so he provided transportation to and back from the climbing spots, which is really nice. The weather in Verdon was not good during the trip, so we ended up climbing some beautiful routes in les Calanques and Cap Canaille. Robin knows the area and the routes well, so he selected the ones that was within my ability but also felt challenging. Robin also took a lot of nice photos along the way, introduced and explained the routes/backgrounds, and helped me feel more comfortable climbing multi-pitch routes (this was my first time). I highly recommend this trip to anyone that wants to experience the beauty of south of France from a couple hundreds meters up.

The climb with Robin was amazing. We were a group of 3 and he picked us up at the bus station since we didn't have a car. He took us on the route de Cretes which is beautiful, and then climbed les Calanques. The day was perfect and the view was mesmerizing. At the end, he dropped us off at the city center of Cassis since we luckily had the time to visit it. I would definitely recommend the guide, who watched over us and is friendly, and the route which was so beautiful!
