The Val d’Isere in the French Alps is a gorgeous area. It is a wonderful place to explore and enjoy. There are also a number of fantastic outdoor activities to be experienced in the valley as well. And on this trip, which can last for one, or several days if you wish, you will get to ice climb on a number of different ice falls.

There are a number of fantastic ice climbing options in and around the Val d’Isere. Some examples include the following.

  • Cascade of Roger Valley’s at Brevieres

About the Guide

With my name I can’t make you believe that I am mountaineer of origin! I am a breton migrant worker who was stranded in the Pyrénées and later in the Alps…
What I like most of my job is the incredible mountain’s support to weave the real relationships in a short time and often the quality with people whom I guide to these beautiful summits. It is with a great pleasure that I put at your disposal my 25 years of experience in the climbing, mountaineering and skiing playgrounds to guide you in your adventure projects. I am also ski instructor and mountain rescuer. See you soon!

What People are Saying about Goulven Cuzon

Overall the experience was great - Xavier really knew the local area catered to everyones abilities in the group and offered some great advice. I would love to book another day trip (or maybe even a multi day trip!) with Xavier so I could experience some of the peace and quiet you get away from the piestes in the remote areas of the mountains. Would recommend to anyone that wants to explore the mountains away from the crowds.
