Improving your technique on multi-pitch routes (1 day)

I invite you to join me for a day in Yvoir, Belgium, to refresh your rock climbing knowledge and improve your skills. It will be the perfect occasion to regain confidence before going on a challenging multi-pitch climbing trip.

We will meet in Yvoir, in Namur. This is a great rock climbing destination in Wallonia, Belgium. The terrain is varied, which provides a good playground for beginners as well as intermediate climbers. This group program is designed for people with prior rock climbing experience, in particular multi-pitch.

This is a perfect opportunity to review safety techniques and climbing skills specific to multi-pitch rock climbing. All in a beautiful natural setting, with great views over the Meuse valley. The limestone walls are first class!

During this 1-day program we will focus on different topics, including:
– How to do your own relay
– How to ensure the second
– Multi-pitch enchainment
– Alternate leads
– Abseiling

Besides, we will cover more general situations like avoiding classic mistakes and problematic situations. And of course we will have some time to practice particular aspects of the practice you might be interested in improving.
