Description

If you wish to traverse the beautiful Manaslu region, then join us on this amazing Manaslu Circuit Trek in Nepal. For 16 days, we’ll hike in a breathtaking landscape of mountains and forests, and see divine views of many high peaks including Mount Manaslu (8163m), Sringi Himal (7161m), Himalchuli (7893m), Simnang Himal (6251m) and many more!

This is no regular trip, as it will cover so many unexplored spots in the area. The trip will begin in Kathmandu, from where we’ll drive to  Arughat and continue towards Soti Khola in a beautiful mountainous setting. Trekking along the Budhi Gandaki River, you’ll discover the typical vegetation of the region.

Heading further, you’ll cross Labubesi village, a small Gurung settlement and catch a glimpse of the lifestyle of native people here. The landscape of the area is dominated by Machha Khola, a breathtaking spectacle indeed!

The trail further takes us to the villages of Jagat, Philim, and Deng offering a closer look at customs and traditions of the area. The circuit then leads to Namrung, Lho and Lamagaun, offering striking views of Himchuli Himal as we continue. Of course, you’ll also visit several monasteries on the way including the beautiful Ribung monastery and the age-old Pungyen Gompa monastery.

It will be definitely an unforgettable experience seeing the carvings on mani-stone walls and walking on trails adorned with colorful Buddhist prayer flags. 

Samagaon, Samdo, Dharmashala and Bhimphedi are a few of the places we’ll be visiting en route. Walking along the beautiful alpine lakes, we’ll traverse the Larkya La glacier and cross the daunting Larkya La pass to see magnificent views of Kang Guru, Himlung Himal, and several other colossal peaks.

Day 4: Machha Khola to Jagat (1340m/4395ft), Duration: 6 hrs

Day 5: Jagat to Philim (1700m/5576ft), Duration: 5 hrs

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice. On the day head to take another group but he quickly arranged another guide Borut, who was brilliant. We had a fantastic morning learning via ferrata at Hvadnik in the gorge.
