Description

If you are a looking for an awesome rock climbing experience in the Alps, this weekend trip is for you: let’s explore the amazing routes of Ticino, the southernmost canton of Switzerland!

Ticino is an Italian-speaking region with fabulous scenery: sharp peaks, beautiful lakes, rivers and valleys, and favourable climate. The Canton of Ticino is a very popular destination for lovers of rock climbing, many of its cliffs and walls offer stunning routes for all levels.

This 2-day tour is an intensive climbing adventure. We will explore the Ponte Brolla area, a popular and giant granite dome with perfectly bolted routes. No matter your skills, I’ll help you to become a better rock climber!

The climate of Ticino is warmer than in the rest of Switzerland and has many sunny days during the year. Furthermore, some spots in the region allow us to climb  even in the rain, as some sectors in Ponte Brolla stay dry! Moreover, given its attractive architecture and delicious cuisine, Ticino is a perfect destination for a weekend getaway!

So, if you are up for this rock climbing program in southern Switzerland, please contact me. Let me help you to improve your skills in the beautiful Ticino!

Very user friendly platform with timely responses from Explore Share representatives. The trip itself with Tom from Alps Adventures was awesome and ensure that we had an experience that was 100% what we wanted. Recommend both the platform and the guide. Thanks to all for arranging and delivering so well.

I had am amazing time during the 1-day off-piste training course at Hoch-Ybrig. Urs, our main mountain guide, was very helpful in answering my queries before the course, and Lupe from explore-share was helpful in selecting the course. We had 3 groups under Urs, Mario and Patrick, and I was in the group with Patrick. He gave us a lot of nice tips and individualized video analysis. He made a special effort to convey everything in English, since I don't know German. All the participants were very helpful and friendly too! The course is good value for money as skis are included for the weekend in the course price.
