Intro to alpine sport climbing on Mount Kinabalu in Malaysia (2 days)

For 2 wonderful days, we would like to guide you on an intro level sport climbing expedition on the beautiful Mount Kinabalu (4,095m) in Borneo, Malaysia.

Our trip will begin at 6:30 am, when we will pick you up from your hotel lobby and take you to Kinabalu Park. After that, we will register and go to the starting point of our climb, which we will reach at 8:30 am. From there, we will climb for approximately 4 hours to the Pendant Hut, where we will spend the night. At 3:30 pm, you will participate in a via ferrata familiarisation course. Afterwards, you will get to enjoy a delicious meal and then the rest of the evening at your leisure.

On the second day of the trip, we will wake up early, at 1:30 am, and make our way by torchlight to the summit of Kinabalu. The climb will take approximately 3 hours. Thus ensuring you will get to enjoy a mesmerizing sunrise. After that, at approximately 6:00 am, we will go to the Panar Laban rock face, where you will get to enjoy some intro level sport climbing activities. Following the activities, we will return to the Pendant Hut for breakfast at 10:00 am. At 11:30 am, we will pack up and proceed down the peak.
