Description

Follow us on an incredible via ferrata day in the impressive Italian Dolomites. The Kaiserjager via ferrata is a beautiful route filled with breathtaking views and historic clues of the First World War.

In order to reach the Kaiserjager via ferrata, we’ll take the cablecar to Passo Falzarego and take the 402 path. Then, we’ll climb towards the west and discover old barracks from World War I along the way. The path offers different via ferrata techniques, such as iron steps, a system of ledges and a suspension bridge. We’ll go by Cengia Martini, Piccolo Lagazuoi until we reach the Lagazuoi refuge. Finally, on our way down, we’ll go through tunnels and old trenches until we reach the 402 path back to Passo Falzarego.

This trip has an intermediate level of difficulty with moderate challenges. It also allows for the possibility to enjoy the climb and the stunning panoramic views from the 2,780-meter summit. We can also plan the itinerary to organize the excursion in the opposite direction.

What people are saying about Gruppo Guide

assy

The trip itself and Refaelo the guide was great and they even gave a refund for my daughter who didn't participate at last due to sickness. But All the corresponding before the trip was bad. No details were given about the ferrata and not even about the meeting point and time. It took a lot of time to get answers for my questions and sometimes didn't get any.

Nicole

Our guide Jacomo was incredible! He told us so much about the mountains and the area, about the fauna and the history of ferratas. We had an amazing time with him.
