Description

Few mountain ranges have the uniqueness of the Lyngen Alps. Located in northern Norway, this collection of peaks is nothing short of stunning. The gorgeous contrast between the crisp white of the snow covered slopes and the deep blue of the nearby ocean is remarkably beautiful.

It is my goal on this one week trip that you will get to enjoy as much of this mountain range as possible. And you will also have the chance to enjoy it not just by admiring it from afar, but by ski touring through it. Thus giving you the chance to experience several of the many beautiful and exciting descends the Lyngen Alps has to offer.

As a result of the assortment of peaks, and the wide range of altitudes their descents offer, skiers of all levels can enjoy this mountain range. So whether you are an expert who is looking for the highest peak to descent from, or a beginner looking for the lowest, you can still have a great time. However, all participants should be in good physical condition, as there will be some climbing involved.

Along with the incredible ski touring that you will get to enjoy every day of this trip, you will also get to enjoy some truly remarkable views. There is nothing quite like seeing the Fjordlandschaften from the top of one of the Lyngen Alps' peaks. And finally, at the end of each day, you will get to enjoy the night in a comfortable, rustic cabin that is wonderfully close to the slopes.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice. On the day head to take another group but he quickly arranged another guide Borut, who was brilliant. We had a fantastic morning learning via ferrata at Hvadnik in the gorge.
