Description

Lyskamm is a fantastic mountain lying on the border between the Valais Canton and the Aosta Valley. As part of the Pennine Alps, it belongs to the Monte Rosa massif. A perfect and unique environment!

The 3 day Lyskamm traverse (4,527m) is one of the most incredible itineraries that can be made by this region shared by Zermatt and Gressoney-La-Trinité. It is a sharp snowy edge with rocky passages through which we will need to apply some crampon skills.

As it is a rather technical and demanding mountain traverse, I always suggest doing some warm up climbs. Among the most recommended:

  • The Breithorn

  • Soldato Crest

Both options have an extra cost that you can consult me privately. During this acclimatization trips I’ll guide a maximum of two people. In this way, I make sure to give you personalized advice so you feel ready for the great Lyskamm traverse!

If you find this proposal tempting please send your request now and make your reservation. It’ll be a honor for me to be your guide!

Fantastic climb! We were the only people climbing the normal route so we had the mountain to ourselves. Fede was great, highly professional, and he assessed the risks very well. Highly recommended!
